The award winning Kingsley Inn is located in downtown Ft. Madison, IA, with front row views of the Mississippi River. Across the street is the historic Old Fort Madison, the Midwest's oldest American military garrison on the upper Mississippi River. You can discover what life was like during the 1800's and learn the exciting heritage of Iowa before it was a state. The Old Santa Fe Depot Museum is also located right across the street, originally built in 1910 with renovations done in 2012 and is now home to Amtrak as of December 10, 2021. Around the corner is many local shops ranging from clothing shops, movie theater, wine & whiskey bar, record store, coffee shop and much more!
